Rebecca is an actor, director, educator and mama. She loves to create, garden and enjoys a slow yoga flow. Her love of Chekhov, movement, and ensemble based theater inspired her to co-found CRASH Theater Company after her time studying and performing in Moscow. She trained at the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University where she obtained her MFA in Acting. Her theater company's adaptation of Three Sisters, TararaBoom, was performed Off-Off Broadway in three different downtown theaters. Rebecca's teaching work has brought her into University classrooms and New York City Public Schools across all 5 boroughs. She has mentored and directed for the non-profit ArtsConnection and has taught yoga and mindfulness throughout the city in classrooms and the corporate workplace. After becoming a mom of two, she feels even more connected to her work as an artist particularly with Chekhov; most days she finds herself laughing through tears. She loves her Black Lab, Masha, who is always wearing black.
